Well here is the first 10 figures of the Dwarf army. I origonaly wanted to give you guys a army in one file but alas 30 figures has grown to 55 figures and unless i start pushing them out the door then ill never get them done.
So here we have the Dwarf infantry. 10 figs, 2 colors, blanks, vector parts, 3 with swords, 3 with axes, 3 with hammers and one sergeant.

Thanks, downloading now. Do you have plans for a unit with spears or crossbows? If not then I'll start modding up a unit of spear carriers tonight. Looks real good.

next set will have 3 with great hammers, 3 with great axes, 3 with guns and a hero fig to make 10. The figures are done i just need to do the backs and then the shading/texturing. Im going to finish the ODAT troopers first though. If you like i can make a set with spears or pikes/polearms? only have to make the weapons.

Sweet! The dwarves came out GREAT.
BTW, I've started building a small army based on your NAC/NCC troops in the blue/gray color scheme. I can't wait for those ODATs to come out! Combined with some stuff from Ebbles, OneMonk, and Dave G, it'll be a killer set. I'll post some pics of what I've done so far when I get the chance.

Slick Polearms would be great. 2 handed axes and warhammers for example are a classic dwarf motive.

I know you're busy with the NCC and 3D stuff so I made a spear and gave it to the Dwarf swordsmen; I also have some sergeant mod variants done, I haven't cut and assembled them yet though. I've also got a great deal of edging to do on the current batch.

squirmydad, They turned out looking awesome! I love the spears they just make the army stand out! Enpeze, Here is the next set. no polearms but 2 out of 3 is not too bad. 3 riflemen, 3 with great hammers, 3 with great axes and a paladin to cap things off. I still ahve to add some more flare to the riflemen they look too bland. Slick

Slick Riflemen; Perhaps make the muskets "meatier"- much of the weapons work I'm seeing on your dwarves is stocky, wide, heavy - these muskets have a good length but look too slender for your Dwarves. Also, maybe a different left shoulder piece that's more squared up like a blast shield? Heavier gauntlets for handling firearms? I like the look of this next set!

I love the look of the war hammers and battle axes!!! Maybe the musketmen need a smaller padded shoulder (their right/viewed left) to handle the kick of the rifles? Maybe the gun stock could include an axehead so it can be used as a melee weapon after you fire it? I was amazed to discover that muskets like this actually existed. Just imagine a warrior unleashing a fiery blast at point blank range and then flipping his gun around to charge you down with a menacing ax that's still smoking from his first shot!
Will you include powder horns and shot pouches on the back view? So many black powder minis from other companies forget to include powder horns or other ammunition supplies for their musketeers.
All those suggestions aside, these are turning out to be some great miniature!

Ya I still need to tweak out the riflemen a bit....funny though waffle, I added an axe head to the new musket i designed the day before your post ;D. Great minds think alike. Like I said they still need there flair so a powder horn/bullets a bandoleer and perhaps some form of CQC weapon will be added to them.

Here's a pic of my mods of the sergeants and some standard bearers. Now I just need some standards to hang on them.
